The Visitor Centre is situated at Westmoor Farm, two and a half miles from the village of Metheringham on the B1189, directly opposite the B1191 turning to Martin and Woodhall Spa.

approximatly 4 miles from the Visitor Centre.

Aviation Heritage
While in the area, there are many other sites of aviation heritage that you may wish to visit, a few of these are shown on the local area map above, they are:

Woodhall Spa
In the centre of the village is a memorial to 617(Dambuster) Squadron. 617 Squadron Officer's Mess was located in the "Petwood Hotel" and the Sergeant's Mess in the nearby Thorpe Camp, now also refurbished as a visitors centre.
 
Coningsby
RAF Coningsby is the home to the Battle of Britian Memorial Flight and visitors centre.
 
Digby
The former World War II Sector Operations Room at RAF Digby has been restored to it's former glory, and guided tours are available each Sunday, and by special arrangement, during May to September.
 
Cranwell
RAF Cranwell is home to the "Red Arrows" Aerobatic Team and to the Cranwell Aviation Heritage Museum
 
Waddington
Home to the giant AWACS and host to many visiting aircraft, RAF Waddington has a well established public viewing area alongside the A15, Lincoln to Sleaford road.
